The Truth Exchange is weekly podcast that engages modern issues with a Christ-centered mindset. Join our hosts Dr. Kenneth Bruce and Harper Whitman each Monday as we release a brand-new episode. Our mission is to ensure that we as Christians cut through cultural confusion with God’s Word. We live in a World that has replaced the truth of God for the lies of this age. We see it every day at work, at the ball field, the grocery store or on any type of social media platform. To the point that many people don’t even recognize God’s truth. So, join us every week as we exchange the lies of this age for God’s truth.

EP 48 Even If
Monday Mar 30, 2026
Monday Mar 30, 2026
Today we’re diving into a powerful theme that many of us wrestle with but don’t always say out loud—what it means to hold on to faith when life isn’t going the way we hoped. In 2017, the band MercyMe released a song that captured this tension beautifully. Written during a season of struggle, it speaks to the space between believing God can change things and trusting Him even when He doesn’t.
It’s easy to have faith when everything is going well. It’s harder when the answers don’t come, when the mountain doesn’t move, and when we’re left standing in the fire. But real faith isn’t about winning every battle—it’s about where we place our hope when we’re losing.
In this episode, we’ll talk about faith that endures, trust that remains steady in uncertainty, and the courage it takes to say, even if things don’t change, God is still enough. If you’re walking through a difficult season or questioning what faith looks like right now, this conversation is for you.
In this episode: Hebrews 11, Luke 9:23, Philippians 1:21, Romans 8:29, Habakkuk 3.

EP 45 Defeating the Devil's Schemes
Monday Mar 09, 2026
Monday Mar 09, 2026
In a world filled with noise, confusion, and constant pressure, many of us sense that the real battles we face go deeper than what we can see. Scripture reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against unseen spiritual forces that seek to deceive, accuse, and pull us away from the truth.
The Bible warns us to stay alert—because our adversary prowls like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. But it also gives us hope, clarity, and a strategy. God has not left His people defenseless.
In this podcast, we’ll explore the devil’s schemes—how deception, accusation, and temptation operate in everyday life—and, more importantly, how believers can stand firm. We’ll talk about what it means to put on the full armor of God: to walk in truth and righteousness, to raise the shield of faith, to wield the Word of God, and to live a life anchored in prayer.
In this episode: 1 Peter 5:6-8, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Colossians 2:15, Jermiah 3, Romans 10:13, 2 Corinthians 10:5, Ephesians 6:11-18, 1 John 4:4, 1 John 1:9.

EP 44 Never To Far Gone
Monday Mar 02, 2026
Monday Mar 02, 2026
The apostle Paul reminds us that the enemy blinds the minds of unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel—the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. But the same God who once said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” still shines today—revealing His glory in the face of Jesus.
In this episode, we’ll talk about that light… and about the heart. The Bible describes the heart as the center of who we are—the place where our thoughts, desires, faith, joy, and even our words are formed. And it also warns us of something sobering: when sin goes unconfessed, the heart can grow hard. Over time, it becomes desensitized, even unable to recognize truth.
We’ll reflect on the danger of willful sin, the hope found in confession, and the power of persistent prayer—like praying for a wayward friend for decades, trusting that one day God may finally turn on the light.
Because if salvation is truly a miracle of God, then no prayer is wasted—and no heart is beyond His reach.
In this episode: 2 Peter 2:14, Jude verse 6, Romans 5:8, Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Corinthians 5:17, 1 Timothy 1:16, Psalm 19:13, 1 Corinthians 1:4, Romans 5:20.

Monday Feb 23, 2026
Welcome to today’s episode, where we dive into the fascinating world of Mormonism—the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Founded in the 1830s by Joseph Smith, Mormonism claims to be the restored church after a period of apostasy, with roots in early Christian traditions and a story that begins with a young seeker’s prayer in rural Vermont.
With over 16 million members worldwide, Mormonism stands out for its high level of commitment. We’ll unpack what it means to be a Mormon, the concept of progressing toward godhood, and the church’s view on grace, effort, and saving ordinances.
In this episode: James 1:5, Revelation 22, Deuteronomy 4, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 5:8, John 3:16, Galatians1, John 1:1-3, Romans 10:9-10.
