The Truth Exchange is weekly podcast that engages modern issues with a Christ-centered mindset. Join our hosts Dr. Kenneth Bruce and Harper Whitman each Monday as we release a brand-new episode. Our mission is to ensure that we as Christians cut through cultural confusion with God’s Word. We live in a World that has replaced the truth of God for the lies of this age. We see it every day at work, at the ball field, the grocery store or on any type of social media platform. To the point that many people don’t even recognize God’s truth. So, join us every week as we exchange the lies of this age for God’s truth.

EP 57 Being Calm In The Storm
Welcome to today’s episode, where we’re talking about what it means to stay calm in the middle of life’s storms. Whether you’re facing uncertainty, loss, pressure, or fear, this message is a reminder that God is present, powerful, and able to bring peace in the middle of chaos. We’ll look at what Scripture shows us about trusting Him when the winds rise and the waves feel overwhelming.
Throughout the Bible, storms are more than weather—they often represent the trials, tensions, and spiritual battles we all face. But again and again, God shows that He has authority over every storm and the ability to calm every troubled heart. So, if you’re in a difficult season right now, we hope this episode encourages you to lean into His presence and trust His peace.
In this episode: Matthew 8:23-27, Isaiah 25:4-5, Daniel 3:25, John 16:33, Johah 1:4, Revelation 21:3-4.

EP 55 The Trinity Explained
Monday May 18, 2026
Monday May 18, 2026
Today, we’re stepping into one of the deepest and most beautiful truths of the Christian faith: the doctrine of the Trinity. Christians believe in one God—fully and eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Not three gods. Not three parts of God. But one true and living God in three distinct persons. It’s a mystery, yes—but as Scripture reminds us in Deuteronomy 29:29, there are hidden things that belong to the Lord, and there are revealed things given to us so that we may know Him truly and follow Him faithfully.
In this episode: Matthew 3:16-17, Matthew 28:19, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 16 and 17, Ephesians 2:18, Psalm 139:17, Acts 5:3-5.

EP 54 Discussing Islam
Monday May 11, 2026
Monday May 11, 2026
In today’s episode we’re taking a thoughtful look at Islam—its origins, its core beliefs and practices, and some of the key historical and textual claims often raised in conversation between Muslims and Christians.
This is not an episode of caricatures or quick takes. Our goal is understanding: What do Muslims mean by “submission”? What are the Five Pillars and the six articles of faith? How did the Qur’an come to be compiled? By the end, you’ll have a stronger grasp of the basic contours of Islamic belief and history, plus a clearer sense of why certain claims—like the Qur’an’s view of Jesus’ crucifixion—matter so much in interfaith dialogue.

EP 52 How to Pray Correctly
Monday Apr 27, 2026
Monday Apr 27, 2026
Today we’re talking about prayer: not as a religious routine, not as a last‑minute panic button, but as real communication with the living God.
We’ll ask a couple honest questions: Is there a right way to pray? Is there a wrong way to pray? And what does it look like to “pray constantly” in everyday life—before the email, during the commute, in a hard conversation, and even in the quiet moments no one else sees? Join us today as we dig into these topics.
In this episode: Psalm 102, Matthew 6:9-13, Romans 8, 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, Mark 11, James 4:2-3, Luke 10:2, James 1:6-8.

EP 51 Forgiveness
Monday Apr 20, 2026
Monday Apr 20, 2026
In today’s episode we are talking about something every one of us runs into sooner or later: forgiveness.
Maybe you’re carrying a hurt that won’t loosen its grip. Maybe you’re wrestling with guilt and wondering if you’ve asked God “enough” times. Or maybe you’re trying to figure out how to forgive someone without excusing what happened or pretending it didn’t matter.
Today, we’ll anchor in the scriptures and talk about forgiveness as a spiritual act—releasing someone’s debt to God’s justice and reclaiming your peace. We’ll also clarify what forgiveness isn’t: it isn’t forgetting, it isn’t instant trust, and it isn’t the same thing as reconciliation.
In this episode: Ephesians 4:32, Romans 5:1, 1 John 1:9, Luke 17:1, Romans 12:19, Matthew 5:23, Matthew 22:37-39, Psalms 139.

EP 50 A Dispensational Discussion
Monday Apr 13, 2026
Monday Apr 13, 2026
In this episode, we’ll explore key questions like: How should we interpret Scripture? What do we do with the promises made to Israel? And how do Israel and the Church relate within God’s unfolding purposes?
Whether you’re convinced of classic dispensationalism, leaning progressive, or coming from a covenantal perspective, our aim is clarity, careful hermeneutics, and charitable conversation—because these topics matter, and the way we handle God’s Word matters even more.
In this episode: 2 Corinthians 1:20, Romans 11, Romans 14, Jude 3.
