When you heard the gospel and repented and became born again, the Bible says you became a new Christian, a newborn in Christ. When a person comes by faith to Christ, and receives a new heart and a new spirit, they are meant to start growing in their faith. "Habits of grace" refer to spiritual practices that help Christians grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with God through prayer, scripture, and community. Today we will discuss reading the bible, prayer and fasting and evangelism.

In Matthew 28:19, Jesus instructs his disciples to "make disciples of all nations". Disciples are fully devoted followers of another. It is more than a teacher student relationship. The disciple is to become more and more like the leader, which is a process. In today's episode we begin to look at the process and discuss how to become a disciple.

Our four-week study of Paul comes to an end today.  We are reminded of his words in 2 Timothy 4:6-8: “For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
